A Midwest Guardrail System (6’-0 W6x9 steel post at 6’-3” post spacing) is planned to be installed. However, a conflict has been identified between the proposed guardrail post locations and a crossing pipe culvert. It is possible that a post spacing will be 6’-9” instead of 6’-3”. Would this be an acceptable tolerance without change any post thickness or embedment?
