We have some projects that want to know how far (“X”) does the 2:1 have to be before steeping the slope.

My 1^st thought was “X” is based on the depth of post (“Y”).   But, I wanted run this past you.

We would concur that retaining the 2:1 slope for the entire depth of the post is appropriate and should result in similar post-soil force development as a continuous 2:1 slope.
