Coring concrete barrier

Description Text	We have a project that did not cast enough concrete cylinders to meet our QA/QC requirements. I was asked if it is O.K. to take a 6” core sample out of our single slope barrier for strength testing. My initial thought was this is O.K. provided that: The sample did not hit the same rebar. The core hole would be refilled. If possible, sample from the non-traffic side. I wanted to check with you to see if there was something I was forgetting.
