I have attached a PDF of the comments I have on your drawings.  Also, we are encouraging all of the DOTs to adopt the Standardized End Buttress for use with Thrie-beam guardrail transitions.  Utilization of the Standardized Buttress will upgrade all previous NCHRP 350, thrie beam transitions to MASH crashworthy systems.  I have attached a drawing set for the Standardized buttress as well as the TRB journal paper recently published on the development and installation guidance for the buttress.
