Response (active)	We have observed similar post and beam bridge rails in use in the past, but we do not have knowledge of them being crash tested to any recent standard. Nesting the beam would be a positive step in terms of reducing the potential for rail rupture. However, it may not guarantee the crashworthiness of the barrier system.
